UOMA Events Registration App / Landing Page
Finding an event management software can offer a number of benefits for businesses that regularly host events. Not only did the Event Planning Team need all the standard features of an event application, such as attendee list, attendee contact info, and total count of tickets for management, but also there was an additional challenge, the consumers and fans of a high-end cosmetic brand such as Uoma Beauty, are pretty sophisticated and expect the presentation and experience to be consistent with other touchpoints of the brand and the graphic, layout and user experience to be presented in a very functional, yet exciting manner. After testing several solutions that did not meet the requirements, we decided to build it internally using WordPress since it offered both control and full flexibility.

Using WordPress, I was able to create a stunning design that was easily optimized to attract a new audience while being easy to find the key information about the event. With a well-planned and organized navigation, it was super easy to find the content all on one page, answer frequently asked questions, take action, and register for the event.
Mobile First Page
With knowledge gained through analytics and web metrics that 80% of our users were going to access the page from a mobile device, I ensured that pages were designed and built for mobile devices first, making easier for our users to register for the event using their mobile device.
Admin Ticket Registration Management And Checking In Dashboard for Admins At The Event
Registrant arriving at the event would present their order confirmation and ticket registration number. Admins at the event have the ability to check attendees in through the admin dashboard.
